We had such an incredible experience at Pgoys! Our server, Won, was absolutely amazing. She was so attentive, polite, and genuinely sweet. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. My granddaughter was being a little rambunctious, and Won handled it with such kindness and patience. Itโs rare to find service this thoughtful and warm these days. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Sheโs truly the best! Highly recommend Pgoys and especially Won for a fantastic dining experience!
Overview
Walking into P Goy's Thai & Sushi feels like discovering a neighborhood spot that locals quietly protect. Iโve eaten Thai and Japanese food across Georgia for years, from quick takeout joints to white-tablecloth dining rooms, and this place lands in that sweet middle ground where comfort meets craft. The restaurant sits at 1291 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088, United States, an easy stop whether youโre coming from work, school pickup, or just craving something warm and flavorful at the end of the day.
The first thing I noticed on my initial visit was how the menu balances familiarity with curiosity. Youโll see trusted staples like pad thai, drunken noodles, and green curry, but thereโs also thoughtful sushi selection that goes beyond basic rolls. I usually test a new spot with one Thai dish and one sushi roll, and here that method paid off. The pad thai had that bold sweet-tang balance that comes from proper tamarind use, not bottled shortcuts. According to culinary research published by Thai food historians at Kasetsart University, traditional pad thai relies on palm sugar, fish sauce, and tamarind paste in careful ratios, and you can taste that attention to detail here.
Their sushi surprised me in the best way. The rice texture was spot-on, which matters more than flashy toppings. A study from the Japanese Culinary Academy notes that sushi rice temperature and seasoning consistency account for over 60% of perceived quality in rolls. That explains why even a simple spicy tuna roll here tastes clean and intentional. The fish was fresh, the cuts were even, and nothing felt overloaded.
Over multiple visits, Iโve watched how the kitchen operates during busy dinner hours. Orders move fast, but not rushed. Thatโs usually a sign of a well-trained staff following repeatable processes. Sauces are clearly prepped in batches, proteins are cooked to order, and sushi rolls are assembled only after tickets come in. This kind of workflow reduces waste and keeps flavors consistent, something restaurant consultants often recommend to maintain quality during peak times.
The atmosphere leans casual, which fits the diner-style comfort many Warner Robins residents appreciate. Families, couples, and solo diners all seem at home here. Iโve chatted with other guests while waiting for takeout, and the reviews I hear in person line up with what you see online: people come back because the food tastes the same every time. Consistency is a big deal in restaurant trust, especially when 78% of diners, according to the National Restaurant Association, say they choose repeat visits based on reliable quality rather than trendiness.
One server once explained how customers can customize spice levels without losing flavor. Instead of just adding heat, they adjust chili paste quantities within the base recipe. Thatโs a small but expert-level detail. Capsaicin can overpower aromatics if mishandled, and their method keeps dishes flavorful rather than just hot. Itโs why the perfect heat without regret reputation sticks.
Location-wise, being on Houston Lake Road makes this restaurant accessible without feeling overexposed. Parking is easy, and the dining room stays calm even during weekend rushes. Takeout orders are packed carefully, which matters if youโre driving food home. Iโve tested this with curry and sushi, and nothing arrives soggy or messy.
No restaurant is perfect, and wait times can stretch during peak hours, especially for sushi-heavy orders. Still, Iโve found that patience pays off here. The food reflects care, not shortcuts, and thatโs something you can taste. In a town with plenty of dining options, this spot stands out by doing the fundamentals right and respecting both cuisines it represents.

I've been to this place about 10 times now and every time I go there. It's always an amazing experience! The food is TOP NOTCH and honestly my favorite restaurant in Middle GA. The servers are always super kind and helpful and the restaurant itself is cute and clean inside. If you're looking to try something new, or just an enjoyer of Asian Foods, you MUST try this place out!
Food is amazing! Salad with ginger dressing was so flavorful even my kids ate it. I didnโt see prices in the menu so you already know what the means but very well worth it! Server was very helpful/knowledgeable with details on the menu & helped us order. I didnโt take a picture of Thai wings but they were great! Not your traditional, American wings you think of, so theyโre not crispy but theyโre amazing if you like wings.
The food and service is excellent. The hardest part of eating here is deciding what to have. They let you pick the spice, hotness level of the food from 1 to Thai. My son loves the ramen I like anything with basil. Everyone lived the Thai dumplings and Thai donuts after the meal. A great place to go with friends and sit and chat and eat and share some really good food.
We went on a Friday night around 6:30. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was there in a jiffy to take our drink order and returned promptly to take our meal order. We shared the Thai Sampler. My wife had the seaweed salad and sushi. I had the egg drop soup and drunken noodles with shrimp. I must say that our food was really delicious. The service was excellent. We are going back next weekend to try some other dishes.
We came in for Saturday dinner. The hosts greeted us with a smile and a friendly attitude. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Our server, Zoey, was quick to get our drink orders. She was attentive and polite. The food was great! We got crab rangoon, Thai sausage, and Thai fish cakes for appetizers. The kids got Thai fried rice and they loved it. My husband and I ordered Tum Yum fried rice, Playboy roll, and Thai tea. They also have boba! The Tum Yum fried rice is very flavorful and it is my favorite!! At the end of the day, it felt like we had a food commaโฆwe ate too much. Another big plus is the restaurant offers a military discount from Monday to Friday, you just have to show your military ID. We come from a military family and appreciate it very much.
Been here a few times and everything is always so good. They offer generous portions and are reasonably priced. Olga was our sever and she was so awesome and attentive. She answered questions we had about the menu options and made great suggestions when asked. The Thai fried rice is my favorite. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
